Practice Only Option

The practice-only option is for players in 3rd- 8th grades who may not have time to participate in weekend games due to other commitments. Players can attend 2 trainings/week during the summer season.

Evaluations will take place at the first practice.

Where

Practices will be held at local school or park district gyms.

Practices

Players will practice 2x/week

Games

Teams will play in 4 Tournaments by August 2.

Jerseys

Players are asked to purchase a reversible practice jersey. Jerseys can be purchased through Squadlocker.

Extra Costs

Spartan Sports Basketball has partnered with NIKE's Gear UP program. Uniforms must be purchased through their link.

Summer 2026-Schaumburg

Spartan Sports teams compete in local and regional tournaments, shootouts, and leagues.

The program consists of Silver & Gold teams.

The Silver Teams season runs from June 8 through August 2, consisting of 2 practices /week & 4 local tournaments.

Gold teams have additional practices and tournaments.

All players registering for tryouts will be assigned to a team.

No matter the level, we focus on developing and teaching players how to play the game.
